Hang in there! Lots of folks start in their 30s for the first time after gaining exposure/ financial awareness. The fact that you’ve done it once already means you can definitely build it again. You’re going to be fine!

I hope so! Thank you.
You will be fine- it’s always easier to look back and say, ‘If only...’ but stuff happens. If you are at zero, I would recommend not getting a financial advisor. Read up in the general investment strategies and get to know your goals. Plenty of articles and advice out there for your situation- just need to google.
Join the FIRE group and feel free to ask advice. Plenty of good advice out there for free. Financial advisers come in handy when you have a lot of assets or complex family financial issues. https://joinfishbowl.com/bowl_kqfd2
You have plenty of room to go up. You have already started asking the right question. You can do this!

Wow I’m definitely sending prayers your way. I don’t think a financial advisor would be the right thing for you. A lot of them require you to have a certain amount of net worth in order to begin advising you.
I highly recommend going to YouTube and watching videos on how to rebuild your income as well as your mindset so you can be on your way to greatness!
I have been working with a financial advisor through Northwestern who is just a few years in and trying to invest in folks like us who don’t have $$ to burn in investments by helping with creating budgets and regular check ins to see how we’re tracking. I told him several times i have no $$ for him and he’s pretty transparent about the investment in his clients in the long run. He’s actually based in Albany. Happy to share more via DM

I recommend you check out r/personalfinance subreddit.
You definitely don’t need a financial adviser, just some financial sense :)
