Got a message saying I could change my United flight with no change fee because of an itinerary change. I checked and there are fully refundable rates I could change to (current rate is not fully refundable). Couldn't I change it to a fully refundable rate then... Get a full refund? What's the catch? Is it that normally you would pay $200 change fee to go to a fully refundable fare? In that case it still seems better than losing your entire fare in the case you really can't make a flight.

Hey Fam. Spouse & I have been planning to start trying to conceive this year & specifically this month (27 and 28). Has anyone else felt very ready to start a family but when it’s time to start trying, start second guessing if you’re ready and thinking about all of the pros and cons. Should we wait another year? What if we have trouble getting pregnant and kick ourselves for waiting? Will people see us more as just parents and not as much for our successful careers we work so hard for?

Planning to leave PwC. I have two offers that I need to respond to tomorrow. Both are for the same base pay (higher than what I make now)and similar other benefits. Everyone I interviewed with was great. The role at the first company likely has little room for growth but the tasks I feel I could do easily. Work life balance would be amazing. The second company I’d be the first dedicated tax person for the public corporation. Both companies Glassdoor ratings are around 4. Which would you choose?!
