I’m in New York but I just wanted to tap in and say that I think for all of the jobs that you’re doing you should be getting paid a whole lot more. Those are like three separate jobs almost. And you’re doing all of them. I’d say you should be making double.
100% same!!
I’m an EA in Southeast Texas in Petrochemicals, and work 5 days in office (with flexibility to WFH as needed), have 4 weeks vacation and additional sick time as needed, and am at 91k base plus overtime and yearly bonus.
I have about 16 years’ experience and have been with this company for 6 1/2 years. I do a lot of what you also do, you should certainly be eligible for more pay in my opinion!

Just took on my first admin job and I’m at 65k. I’m in New York. You are being severely underpaid considering you’re doing 3 jobs (2 of which are demanding).
I’ve moved on from my strictly Admin position, and am working more in Abalytics, but still work closely with our HR, Talent acquisition, finance and resource management teams. First I’d say you are underpaid. Any start ups I’ve worked with throughout my career always paid more since there’s a greater risk compared to more established companies and jobs tend to be less defined with greater responsibility. Do you get overtime along with your salary? How’s your benefits cost?
For reference, I’m in the mid Atlantic region. When I left my admin role, I was at 80K plus overtime with unlimited PTO, wfh as needed, they paid into my HSA $1500 annually).
Yes. I have unlimited PTO, vision-dental-health insurance they pay for my portion. That’s it. No wfh, I have my hsa but they don’t contribute. No bonus either
You should be compensated way more !!! I’m an EA in NYC making 110k
Hello is your company hiring? I’m an EA with 8 years experience making 80K in NYC and supporting 3 practices (7 executives and teams). 10 days PTO, no bonus!!! I’ve requested better salary due to the amount of work and inflation and they only are raising it to 2%. Helppp
You’re doing too much for too little.
What company do you work for? That’s awesome that you get unlimited sick time and PTO!
It’s a start up company.
I’m in south central Texas and make more money than 65k and only work for one VP. I’d see what else you could get from them. I’m in the office 5 days with only a flexible work hours, no work from home but I wish I could find somewhere that pays more, working remote with unlimited vacation!
I have been with the company almost 8 years and have 24 years experience. 16 of those years were in legal. I work at a large corporation.
Thank you so much everyone! I thought the same lol. Great, I am not tripping 😅!
I did your job last year in Georgia and was making $92k 😳
