Looking for advice. I'm currently making 80k CAD Salary in my position. When I was hired I was originally told that I was going to be there to bring best practices and enterprise level processes to the company as they were severely lacking any structure for their product development. It's a fairly small team and since then I've pretty much been doing the job of Project Manager, Product Manager, Managing the Developers and more that was not in the JD. Should I ask for more money?

I am new to EY GDS. In my project, I am the only one from EY. Client is having a seperate tech team. I am working with them. Is this common across all the projects?

Is a daily 1.5 hour commute (total) worth a more supportive work environment and better benefits?
Thinking of jumping ship after just 6 months in a fully remote position for an in-house, in person job where expectation is 5d/week in person. Commute would be around 90minutes/day in interstate. Better salary, good 401k match, parental leave (20 weeks paid), 4wks PTO, and a very big name for the resume. 3 YOE. But I love the flexibility of remote work, so struggling to decide.

Why are average salaries in UK and EU looks much less compared to US for similar role, even with higher tax rates? Is it factoring in benefits such as free healthcare, education etc? Or is it just a matter of demand/supply?
