Hello! Looking for full time opportunities as a technical recruiter. Currently working with a big4 firm. Would love to connect with people to learn more about opportunities in the market.
I am currently in the interview process with Meta (Facebook) for enterprise support tech at the DC location. I was looking to ask for 90k, but I’m thinking of asking more. Does anyone know the ranges for this position? Any suggestions as to what I should push for?
I am a fairly new nurse. 3 years experience in Gastro. I am looking to venture out into different facilities for employment. What is the pay these days?? Pls help.
New offer from current company to move to a new team and they’re like it’s some big promotion. Current role is key accounts + a territory, 125k base + 31k and 19k additional bonus opportunities (which I’ve been hitting consistently). New role is a pay grade jump technically and just key accounts and supporting another team for some other big accounts. Pay is 158k + 27k bonus. Total comp difference is only 3% raise. I got a 6% raise in the same role last year alone. What would you negotiate?
Any good firms hiring in Sarasota area? I am licensed in a different state, 20 years experience, first in commercial litigation and now in estate planning. Moved here to be close to parents. Don’t need to work, but would like to. Open to new areas. Not crazy about taking the FL bar exam. Ideas?
Hey everyone. I’m one of those all work, no play type of gals, but I’m getting to the point of burnout. Both my fiancé and life coach have mandated that I go take a vacation. I’ve just received an unexpected $750 check. How would you treat yourself? I need ideas please. Also I’m located in central Massachusetts if that helps narrow down options.
My life right now 😂😭
How useful is something like the Harvard CORe to cushion a lower (~3.3) undergrad GPA or otherwise just solidify an application for T15?
I always send a thank you note in the mail after an interview. This season, I’m applying for remote work, so many companies don’t have a physical office. What is the next best thing? A regular email feels like it would get lost and/or overlooked.
Can I get some scholarship with 770 gmat and 340 gre for part time program? My undergrad GPA is 3.8 in accounting, and I am currently in the army reserve, if it matters. I heard part time programs rarely give out scholarship. Is that true?
I recently graduated from a data science program and am looking to get some experience in the form of an internship. I had been working full-time as a teacher while also studying full-time so my portfolio isn’t the greatest. My question is, coming from a career that isn’t in tech and with little experience how can I make myself stand out more? More personal projects? More certifications? I’m hoping to get one before the summer.
Stupid question, but I’m curious about the bowls feedback: There are two positions at Adobe I’m extremely interested in, but they’re for University graduates and MBA students. Would Adobe, or any other company, consider a student who doesn’t fit that criteria? Or is that an automatic disqualification? I graduated 2020 if that matters
I have got an offer from Schneider Electric company in Digital dept. How is the work culture, hike, career growth.
Please share your experience as I have got only 10 days to join.

Leaving a toxic job that I’ve only been at for like 3 months, how would you phrase having a conversation to resign? I only resigned one other time and it was somewhere I enjoyed and was at for 4 years so no clue how to go about this.

Any remote healthcare admin opportunities available? I have about almost 4 years of healthcare experience, 2 being in a management position. I also have my MBA with a healthcare management concentration. I’m currently in a practice managerial role and have realized this isn’t for me. I am an introvert and work better independently vs dealing with everyday ordeals at work.
It is only now in my early thirty's and after a couple of really tough years at work, do I recognize the benefit and need for a mentor. I do not think I have ever had one really, only 'okay' male bosses. As the only woman in my company (for 5+ years now) I'm not even sure how I can find a 'mentor' outside of my company or if that is even a thing? I see that my more 'successful' friends have had female bosses they rave about or appointed mentors at each level of their career. Any advice?

I’m active looking for Scrum Master/Project Manager jobs in Boston. I have 7 years of project management experience and am currently a Scrum Master-Business Development.
Hoping to get referrals/recruitment help of any kind.
Has anyone been successful at creating “boundaries” in the workplace both with duties and relationships with bosses and not been gaslighted to believe they just aren’t being a team player ( or in other words highly agreeable)? I’ve seen it happen around me and I’m waiting for the day it directly effects me. I would love to learn from your experiences and success stories…
Best shoes for work that aren’t Rothy’s. Go! (I recent bought a pair of Tom’s slingback heels and a wedge and they’re both pretty decent.)
I’m in talks with management about being a candidate for a new position, Project Manager. This would be a promotion for me; however, a member of my team indicated the company may not want to increase compensation for this role even though I would have more responsibilities. It was even stated that “They may even want to fire people who asked for more money.” I am staggered. Do you advice for me? Should I look elsewhere? Any referrals? Any insight/assistance appreciated.
3 folks that I have hired and trained are being offered a Director position above me. I am so proud of them, but I need advice… When I asked why I was not considered, the only reasons that came up were the following: *1. Less college education 2. My age. I am young. 3. Less experience with Landlords.* I have been with this company for quite a while and my goals have been clear. When I asked what I needed to do over the past 2 years to achieve Director, these 3 issues were not mentioned.
What were some breaking points for you that made it clear it was time for a change in career?. I've been with my company for 10 years and I'm having a hard time with making this decision
Hi all, need a bit of performance advice - I’m thinking of asking for a new PM, but I’m worried about how that will impact my reputation in the team.
My current PM is nice guy, but I don’t feel like he cares about my development and my goals, and he most certainly doesn’t fight for me in the performance reviews. I need someone who can push me and who has my back. Has anyone requested a new PM, and if so, how did you go about it, and where there any repercussions? Thanks for your honesty.
Anybody from or at least familiar with Facebook here that can tell me how to get help changing an admin on a charity event page? Our non profit has an important event coming up and we can’t figure out who has admin rights. The last person known to have had it relinquished it and sent an invite to a woman im working with now but she doesn’t have admin rights and can’t find the invite message/email. We aren’t sure how to proceed!
Anyone made the switch from a traditional path to being a professional career coach? While I do enjoy the tax compliance part of my work, I think my real strength and passion is in the people: mentoring, motivating, helping people to think about and set a plan to achieve their goals. Does career coaching seem like a good fit? Any advice on where to start?
Hey Everyone! I’m new to Fishbowl, but excited to connect. I’m looking to transition to consulting! I’m a licensed social worker with a background in healthcare- utilization management and change management. Any leads on new opportunities? Thanks in advance!
I'm a successful Manager and make a good living. I support my family of 4 since my husband is a house husband and has been for the past 9 years since my first child was born. Now my kids are 9 and 7 and I feel like I don't make enough money. I'd like my husband to go back to work but he has no interest. He loves being home for the kids and he cooks, cleans, does the yard work, and does ALL handy-man tasks around the house. Am I being selfish?
