One of my friends is struggling to find job as a UX designer. I think she has good handson knowledge and has done freelance projects as well. She is a certified UX DESIGNER from renowned university in USA.

She has built her portfolio from scratch and not using wix or any other website. But whenever she applies to a job, it does not lead her to interview.

Any inputs appreciated. Trying to find potential issue here

I'm currently attending lot of interviews, some interviewers are courteous, introduced them, their work experience, what they do and then ask me to introduce myself. While there are interviewers who don't even tell their name or anything, just join the interview and start asking questions, some interviewers don't even apologize if they join late.
One thing I noted is, these guys are generally not managers or HR, someone who have 1 or 2 years more experience than me.
Any experiences?

If I apply to MBB as an experience hire (2 yoe at a Big 4) lateral, how quickly would the process move from application to interview?

I wanted to send an email to the hiring manager after the interview to thank them, but don’t have an email. Should I ask for their email? It is in a teams meeting and it shows the manager’s name but not her contact information

So I'm interviewing, have had loose salary conversation (talked about band but not specifics), and approaching the official offer stage. It's become clear the role is something I'm very well qualified for, but their pay expectations for the role are much lower than mine. At the end, he said the ball was in my court and he would love for me to go through a formal interview. The firm seems great, but my current position is 100% remote and fits perfectly into my schedule. Do I interview even though I wouldn’t consider changing until next year?!
