Scenario: A person with 13 YOE had 40 lpa fixed + 10 % bonus total 44 lpa ctc salary in her company. She switches to Infosys at a salary cut due to location constraints and was paid 40 Lpa ctc (only 32 fixed and 8 lpa variable out of which only 50-60% is paid). While in probation period in Infosys, she receives a permanent wfh opportunity from a small but fast growing company at 45 lpa fixed. So overall benefit she has is 45-36=9 lacs. Should she leave Infosys and join the new smaller company?

Used to rejection and I don’t let it get me down, but with the job market being the way it is—should I put my plans to get into tech on hold? I was thinking maybe construction sales or even possibly recruiting. I’m hesitating because of the nitpicking from HMs and recruiters for “job hopping”. Tech Recruiters - how many engineers are y’all placing every quarter and how big is your team? I’m trying to gauge what’s considered “good” in the market we’re in now.

Communication from my partners seem more negative rather than resolution based. My ideas have been spread around and others are taking credit for it. Micro management has begun. I have sourcers reaching out to me for update on candidates I have not push through instead of checking the system. I have to explain why I did what I did without any real reason. I’m not dropping the ball. I am persistent and have a go getter “get it done” approach. The employees I hire show up and seek longevity.
