I have a question for EY GDS folks( working in business consulting vertical), is there any position called principal consultant in EY GDS ( consulting) or is it the same as senior consultant?

Maybe separate Deloitte India and Deloitte USI too ?

Anyways whether it is Deloitte USI or Deloitte India, both sucks. I have worked in both. Not just this survey, every resource in Deloitte today has same view - worst organization.

Just landed a full time gig, looking to get some furniture so I’m not working on my parents’ kitchen table during this remote period. Any recommendations for desks and chairs? I’m hoping to find something that’s easy to assemble and break down for when I need to move, and something that won’t cost an arm and a leg. I know everyone has a different kind of setup that works for them. I currently have a laptop, drawing pad, second monitor, and a desk riser.

I want to change my job (retail, restaurant), as well as mentioning transferrable skills and doing online courses, is there anything else I should mention to try to get the job? Here is my idea for a startup! I collect all the data from career transitions and use Data Analytics to predict the most likely career transitions. I could start with consulting. What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb). I have all the data to do this, but wanted your thoughts. Would the output of this be relevant to you?

Outsourced IA /RA vs. Internal Audit - how’s the job differ? Why choose one path over another? WLB? I have 2 offers one at a consulting firm and one at a bank, just trying to understand the big differences as both seem like potentially good roles and comp is comparable. Also at the consulting firm I met a few people that left industry for consulting (which seems counterintuitive for me coming from external audit). Can someone help me understand why go back to consulting after industry?
