this sounds like an overreaction if her clothes are appropriate and clean...
Yes, they are supposedly appropriate and clean. However, the client manager has voiced this as a concern to us, so we are trying to resolve on both ends :(
I would suggest scheduling an in-person or virtual meeting. This could be a misunderstanding of the reason, it could also be that she is somewhere on the autism spectrum, even undiagnosed, and she may need some further understanding or assistance.
Exactly what I was thinking as well, she could potentially have a deeper reason as to why she is choosing to wear the same clothes everyday.
(con'd) ...work and encouraged her with reimbursement for it. She still has not changed clothes or responded to this request in any way.
Does someone have a nice way of guiding her to changing clothes or maybe going to scrubs?
Is the team under the assumption that her clothes are dirty? Are scrubs required, is she violating any policies? Email is probably not the best approach to this situation and requires a 1:1 conversation to understand if she knows the dress code. She may have a reason as to why she only wears one outfit, seeking to understand will help in this situation.
The team is not under the assumption that her clothes are dirty, to our awareness. However, with everyone having more than one work outfit or pair of scrubs, they are just concerned she has worn the VERY same clothes since she started...
Scrubs and business casual is the dress code for this specific client. We are ale to provide her with scrub reimbursement, but not regular clothing.
Thank you for your feedback! Being a staffing agency our only way to communicate with an employee is via phone and email... so 1:1 would be ideal, but is unfortunately not an option. If they are not responsive we don't really have a way to talk to them in person. And I absolutely agree that she may have a reason for just one outfit, and we want to just sincerely help her out and genuinely be understanding and support her!... but it is hard if she is also non-responsive.... she shows up for the assignment at the client site, but has not responded to us.
Thus why I am looking for feedback on guiding her or at least getting a response for a conversation without being a jerk about like WE NEED TO TALK.

Okay so she is wearing like the same one outfit every single day? Gosh that is so sad. Also not a fun convo to have.
If she’s clean and doesn’t smell, I wouldn’t ask her.
