Once my project concludes I was going to make a case to switch over to advisory and let my current partner know. I’ve spoken with the advisory partner and he told me he is on board but that I should wait until the pandemic is over since they are on a hiring freeze. Does anyone know what my new salary would be if I switched over?

l interviewed for Deloitte (India not USI) in January, and accepted an offer letter with DOJ of 25th April, later HR asked me to join on 11th April for which I agreed. Now I haven't received the revised offer letter or any links other than BGV and Pre-Hire form from Deloitte and now the HR is not even picking my calls or responding to emails.

Any advice on what to do?

A recruiter at another B4 gave me a number much lower than what I’m currently making. Should I tell them how much im making now, which is admittantly at the very top of the SC band, or counter with a range that’s more than I’m making? I hesitate to just throw out current salary + 20% bc I’d be asking for almost $190k for a SC role and I know that would be quite a huge ask for a SC @ B4, even for tech

Are Tier 2 firms worth it, given the ratio of brand prestige to WLB? For instance, if you have an offer from MBB but think you might not enjoy the long hours, sucking it up could pay big after 1.5-2y (due to the brand prestige). However, can we say the same for tier 2? Is it worth it to scarify WLB?
