Do the CISA questions from just the DB appear on the actual exam? If not, do you still learn enough by reading the questions and answers to pass?
Fishes with a CISM: Does IT Audit experience (ITGC, IT app controls, SOC1's) from an associate/senior associate level fall into 3 of the 4 domains needed to be certified? I tried searching but couldn't find anything on this. Thank in advance!
Probably the wrong crowd for this but does anyone have any experience with College of Charleston’s MBA. I specifically want to pivot away from my industry and have a career in Charleston itself.
Going to MBA- should I use my savings to pay for tuition or invest them in S&P and take out loans?
How does it look to MBA programs to work at BCG vs BCG Platinion or so? Is the experience still better than Big 4 consulting?
For RSM persons - if we are in the Assurance LOB do we get bonuses for obtaining certifications other than the CPA (e.g., CISA)?
Got a first round at Microsoft Strategy coming up (pre-MBA, Cloud/AI team). Any tips on the interview process with MS or this team?
A bunch of analysts and associate promotes asking me if getting an MBA is worthwhile (especially with regards to escaping banking). I never went for an MBA so can't say much. Any advice?
Why does it take 3 years to become an associate? I feel so many more people would stay in banking if it was a 2 year promotion. Plus, most analysts after 2 yrs would school ur avg MBA associate
Has anyone gone from implementation at firm A >> strategy (in industry) >> back to firm A in strategy? (All pre-mba) Ex. Accenture Tech to PayPal strategy to Accenture Strategy
If I want to switch careers out of accounting but stay in business field, would MBA be the better route or would applying for jobs in the areas I'm actually interested in be worth a shot?
What kind of roles does Slalom offer for MBA level people? What is their pay like? Currently in B School and they reached out to me
Anyone gotten off of BC just cause (as in not trying to get pregnant but maybe see if you can regulate your periods?) how long were you in BC? What type of BC (pill, patch, ring, IUD) and how long were you on it before you decided to go off? What were your side effects getting off of it?
Been in NY almost 10 Years. Looking to move somewhere I can raise kids “comfortably” and do decent work without hearing Cats in the Cradle playing in the back of my head. Any thoughts? Agencies?
ECG is hiring for select senior level roles. Please message me directly if you are interested in learning more.

Did you work on projects where you and clients terrible relationships ? Working on this project for more than a year but almost everyday we just argue with bunch of different people (clients, or vendors, different IT teams like testing, deployment teams etc). Feels like never ending saga, and reduces morale. Just want to see similar or better perspectives

In the midst of all these layoffs, I'd just like to point out that I've worked for FCB Health for 15 years (now at Area 23 for last 6 years) and in my time here, there has not been a single layoff.
I read this super interesting article about how big companies like Toyota are investing in social-emotional training for their employees and seeing massive benefits. I actually think this could be a whole separate class for students of all ages. Learning about conflict resolution, growing your own self-regulation skills...it's really important.
