Package : 12 LPA

She is currently working with EY and is due for a raise with current package of 7 LPA. However , her concern is that in EY she gets to work with different clients and create reports for them which offers a lot of challenges and she enjoys those which might be missing in UBS

What are some ways your firm is combating capacity issues outside of attempting to hire more staff? For my firm, it feels unlikely that we will be able to rely solely on hiring to solve our capacity issues for the upcoming year. I’d like to get some ideas now before we blink and it’s already busy season again. I know this is a pervasive issue that a lot of firms are facing, so just wondering what people are doing/seeing.

It’s been asked before whether it’s worth it to pay (~$150) to upgrade a 3 hr flight. I generally agree it is not. But what if your two tweenagers bicker nonstop and are complete and total jerks to you all the time and your spouse chooses the “they’ll grow out of it” approach to things so basically you just want 3 hours of alone time. Then is it worth it?

(Note, in this scenario, they are all entirely too naive to realize it isn’t a system comped upgrade.)

Just started a new Data Analyst position in which I have constant meetings with senior leadership and executives. I have a bad habit of giving too much background info and not getting straight to the point. I just feel like every little detail is important (even though that’s not always the case). Hi y’all! Hope this is the right bowl to post this question and get advice. I am dealing with an employer that preaches our values. The owner states that the values are important to her etc yet my manager violates these values and is involved in unethical behavior frequently. Example 1: My manager has told specialists (resourcers) that she will pay them under the table in order for her (manager) to get full credit vs splitfor the placement and therefore (barely) hit her target for the quarter.
