I feel that Service based companies provide more Job security as compared to Captives or product based companies. If I don't perform well in one account I will be put on some other account and I can continue my job. But this wont happen in product based companies. What do you think guys ?

Im in the final round of the interview with two new firms.. should I say my expected is 12lacs or 14 lacs (i think a jump from 8.5 to 14 could be too much)? I eventually want to drive the number up to 15lacs.
