I started a new job last week & I'm in need of advice. I was assigned a trainer this week who was terrible. He didn't train me. He took multiple breaks & was at times nowhere to be found or hanging out with other coworkers when work was to be done. He also made several inappropriate comments & was at times argumentative when I wanted to be showed the process to do something. I asked a coworker a question & they told him "I'm doing your job for you" . I don't want my experience to be impacted.

How do you deal with recruiters forcing you into interviewing with a company you have no interest in but you go ahead because they have contacts with the companies you really want?

Have you been fired before even starting your new job?

I signed for a new job two months ago and will start next month (3 mo notice period in Europe). They were very keen on getting me on-board ASAP before signing but since I signed the contract it has been silent from the new employee. I've emailed them with questions as I'll be re-locating to NL and it takes them 1-2 weeks to reply. Given all that's going on in the world, I'm worried they might fire me before I even start.
