Hello, thanks again for doing this. Throughout your respective careers, how have y’all dealt with imposter syndromes (If you have, not too assume or project) ?

And as you’ve climbed the corporate ladder so to say, has it gone away?

I agree with Ron's comments, and have struggled with this too.

Remember to take a deep breath and keep going!

You deserve to be there and your contribution to your profession matters. With limited number of diverse professionals it's hard for us to understand this, but you belong and you are not an imposter.

Very relevant question. Being the first (and only) in my immediate family to graduate college and work in FS, I've often felt that I didn't belong and would somehow be "found out". I will say as I progressed in my career the feelings have subsided but I'm not sure they will ever go away completely. I constantly remind myself that I've worked hard to be where I am and deserve it as much as the next person. I rely heavily on my personal and professional network to talk about this as many of them have experienced the same feelings.

Yes, I have also! I agree with Ron and Zoe; take a deep breath and remember that you've earned everything you have worked for.

How do you guys stay organised at work? Do you write down to-dos and notes on paper? Use some kind of tool (like Microsoft notes) or email yourself? I always end up switching between all 3 methods and just want to find one that works and stick to it

For those who who don’t particularly like the typical high-paying tech roles (including coding), what was your path to >$200k a few years after the military? Specifically interested in those who aren’t in strategy and dived right into work after the service

Transferred in to accounting advisory as an S1 coming from audit as an A2 right before promotion (both Big 4 firms). How do expectations for an S1 in accounting advisory differ from expectations for an S1 in audit? I’m a few months in but still feel like the learning curve in terms of technical experience/different projects is causing imposter syndrome
