Obviously exits into Bay Area or Boston Biotech are the golden goose, but some of the legacy pharma companies in Jersey are pretty hot right now and certainly well positioned from an innovation perspective (JNJ, Merck, Celgene / BMS, NVS). Obviously living in Jers doesn’t sound the best, but some of these companies are hiring interesting positions that feel like they set-up eventual moves to Boston / Bay Area pretty well. Thoughts ?

You have an offer from both?
If given a choice, I would take UK; it’s a much larger office with a dedicated LS practice, so you’ll get better training, more support, and frankly more interesting projects.

I wasn’t aware of the 1 office per year rule; there’s significant need at the moment so if you apply to one but also flag your interest in the other office, it certainly won’t hurt your chances!
MD is considered highly attractive, so would not worry about that.
I’m from the wroclaw office, dm me if you have any questions!
I agree with all of the points made above, but if you consider working in Poland, you need to be aware of the current macroeconomic situation, which is pretty tragic.
The current inflation rate of 8% is insanely high (and isn’t predicted to decrease in the upcoming 12-24 months significantly).
On top of that, the new harsh tax laws to be introduced next month will punish the better-earning individuals even harder.
I’d recommend that you apply to the Wroclaw office due to smaller competition and then potentially move internally to London.
It might be a smart way of getting into the firm.
Don't know about LEK, but in most other firms it's quite hard to transfer to London, as it's the most popular office by far.
Better pay in London I suppose?
