Features are about the same but the more expensive option has nicer wheels so maybe that’s worth ~$2k. TIA

Hey, new to investing looking at initial mistakes I made. I have $1k in VOO, $7k in VT and $4k in VTI in my brokerage acct; in my Roth IRA I have $6k in VT and $7.7k in VTI. I know isn’t an ideal portfolio because many of these funds overlap. However I’m in for the long term and am willing to reposition to a strategy that will do the best over my life. I’m looking to purchase a home. I have enough for 20% down and I qualify for a traditional mortgage but my dad suggested he lend me the full cash to make the sale that way I have more negotiating room and can close faster. Then once I close I can refinance it and keep 20% in the house and pay my dad back for the 20%. Is there a downside to this? Will it get messy?

Can someone assist me with a negotiation? My friend is in a bad situation. She knows if she stays at current position, there’s no growth and they are looking for reasons to eliminate her position. She was offered $15,000 less than what she’s making now. Based on what the hiring manager said—his offer was a struggle to come with due to budget. She mainly wants relocation and flexible PTO since she will have to go and move from Maryland to Delaware.

I’ve been working at this company for a year now and they’ve recently gone through a merger with another company. Now there are two sets of C level leadership. Everything is confusing and I feel like employees are being left in the dark. I asked someone in HR for some information as to Wage tables etc and haven’t received a response in over a month. There is no way of telling if this person even works here anymore!

I just joined a company, I liked the work as per JD, but when I entered the team, I feel there is not much to learn and grow in that particular team. There are different teams in the department in which I am hired. Can I ask the AVP of department to shift me in another team of same department, I have joined the organization 1 week ago, shall I talk to my TL before telling AVP or should not say at all. Will it create any bad image of me infront of my AVP and my TL. Plz suggest..
