Can’t decide on a job offer. Currently employed and have been wanting to do something different. The other job offer is pretty much what I make now but I’d be losing on a lot of PTO. I kind of feel really confused about what to do. The hiring manager actually picked up on the fact that I don’t sound super excited for the job. Hi guys, I have got one full time job for 14LPA from 10.5LPA in Coforge for BA role. On the other hand, I have one more offer for Canada and the job is on 2 years contract basis with 80k CAD per annum where I have to sign 2 years agreement as well that I can’t back out once I get the offer. How many days of PTO do you take? I’m a second year partner and have struggled to step away for more than a couple of days at a time. I take around 15 days total for the year. This is a mentality carried over from being a senior manager and working constantly to sell and build a ledger to make partner. My team has doubled in size and ledger continues to grow. I fear burnout with pressure to keep pace of growth no additional incentive to work this hard because of equal sharing comp model.

Most of my experience has been freelance and I'm a self taught engineer. Though I have worked with a vc backed start-up @100k my first real employeement and later with a smaller company @85k in a different state.

I just began working with a larger company @100k and I know I have more experience then my first gig.
The offer I accepted is one level anyway from being senior.
