Genuinely asking. Why doesn’t advertising unionize? Is it forbidden within holding companies? I have never really understood why/how corporations can make it illegal to unionize. I’m not a labor expert so would love to know more. No snark please. Just wondering.

I work in a small independent agency that doesn’t spend much on awards but there’s a work that has a potential to win(It has won couple of awards this year.)

What’s the value of a job title? I’m weighing two in-house opportunities at companies in the same industry. Similar roles at each, but better pay at one. However, the company offering the lower salary is emphasizing a short path to AGC (assuming all goes well). There’s no telling if I’d ever make AGC at the company that has the better compensation package. Trying to figure out how to factor this into my decision.
