You found the right bowl lol

I'd say - can you transfer internally? Or are you seeking to relocate externally? Also, what are your reasons for the city not working? Maybe it needs time for you to adjust and meet people, get comfortable, etc. I'd give it at least 9 months - surely you won't miss anything monumental at that point. Plus thaf puts you right around the holidays. If you are still unhappy, then pack it up and move again.

Hmm my bf doesn't like the city, so it's matter of breaking up 4 yrs of relationship or changing, though I did ask for working from home remotely, as no chance of internal transfer. Also it may affect my career advancement if working remotely unless the firm is open for me to expand business locally...

finally got one phone screening in a level 2 events management position which I want to pivot to and I am feeling that imposter syndrome.. I am curious if anyone could give me any insights to 1) what a associate-level events job interview round 2, round 3 etc. might look like or 2) how to get over that imposter syndrome when you did your career pivot feeling like you lucked out so hard!! I know it’s only the beginning, but I’m feeling so hopeful and nervous from being hopeful.

I currently work in indirect procurement and don’t really like it. What are other types of roles can I apply for where my procurement skills will be recognizable as transferable? 4 years post grad experience and very varied background with category management, sales operations, some marketing and events in my internships as well. I have a lot of transferable skills, but recruiters and hiring managers are only interested in me for procurement roles. TIA

I have an offer and want to negotiate

1. London base salary but I have to absorb all the expenses (train + stay)
I am thinking to negotiate to

2. home base salary and have my expenses paid for

I know that's depends on the amount I have to travel (and potentially stay) but at the moment this is unknown. Past 8 months was just twice a month + 2 nights stay.

The only thing I know is it won't be every week, the return trian ticket is about £80-100, depends I could plan ahead.

Onesource compliance products (GorRS and OIT) are so horrible. How and why??? 9/10 times I call them they cannot help me. There are so many flaws to their system it’s ridiculous. As small as an address on a form!! And their customer service are so useless!!! Not only are they untrained, they are so quick to tell you that something can’t be done (when you’ve done it before and know you can) or “why do you care about this if you already fixed it”. Bitch I have 100 other return just like this one.
