HELP: I got waitlisted at Georgetown (my top MBA choice) and still waiting to hear a decision from UMD (back up school) but feel confident about getting in. Due to COVID-19 work seems unstable right now, which makes school an optimal choice but don’t necessarily want to settle for my back up choice. Should I be safe than sorry & go to UMD this Fall if accepted OR should I try again next year at Georgetown? P.S the only reason I was waitlisted was due to GRE score, which I’m working on improving!

Has anyone partially funded college for their children with Roth IRA withdrawals? I think withdrawals for education expenses are not subject to penalties for early withdrawal. Did your children get "penalized" when applying for scholarships because their parents had Roth IRAs to fund some college expenses? Considering routing 529 contributions to a Roth IRA. If my children don't go to college, at least I have more retirement savings.
