Help. I live in France. Found out I was pregnant (was a total surprise) last week, but I just started this new position two months ago. The Head of People is pissed and will not confirm me (I’m still on trial).
Any ideas on companies I can apply to in US or the UK that will accept a French (+pregnant woman) remotely ?
I’m currently earning around 50k / 5 years of experience, how much should I ask now ?

Thanks 😊

Is that legal? I’m based in the US and hire in France, it’s my understanding that their laws are fairly protective of the employee.

Oof that’s messed up, hopefully they don’t end up doing that. Maybe document everything (including work/feedback that displays you are performing well) just in case it goes south.

Hi! I'm a 24 yr who is currently up for a Sr Consultant position in < 2 months. Firm is Healthcare and has a great culture and work life balance. Pay at promotion would be about $80k.

I was recently offered a Manager position at a major Healthcare Services network doing Contract and acct management. Pay, with bonus, would be upwards of $115k. I'm worried that the position could be dull and there is no culture here. Thoughts on how to decide between the two/any knowledge on the 2nd role? Thx!

Im a jr. account exec at a small PR agency in Florida. I just found out that sr execs make around 75k a year as a base salary. I started my role a couple of months ago but due to how responsible & diligent I am they’ve been loading me with being the account lead with a couple of clients. I believe in equal pay if you’re working about the same amount a sr does. In how many months should I renegotiate my salary? How would you advice me to go about this topic?

How do you know if you have good hygiene? my ex told me I don’t

This is my routine:
- I have curly hair, can only wash it once a week/put dry shampoo if needed
- I brush my teeth 2 times a day
- Wear deodorant / perfume every day (my way, and good girl) and shave off any hair (I did laser but still), as much as possible. Some days, I cannot keep up with shaving (especially if it won’t show)
- I wear pantyliners and change it once a day/ change panties once a day
- I shower my body every day

Nothing like a good dose of anxiety just because your afraid you will less something up soon. Happy Friday!

Additional Posts in Recruiters

Hi Recruiters!
I have a question for you. I have been looking for a remote job (in HR) at a credit union. They are so hard to come by! I just found one. One of the requirements is a degree, which I don’t have.
Do you find that most hiring managers won’t budge on that?
The recruiter is listed on the job. Do you think it is a good idea to message her and ask if it would be a deal breaker before I apply? Or should I just apply and hope for the best?
Thank you!
