Mutual funds or ETFs. Set up automatic transfers/investments to match up with your pay cycles. You'll need to do research around what kind of funds to invest in but once you do that it's super easy. I do a mix of US and foreign funds but you can pick whatever mix you like. Look into 3 fund portfolios online to get a better idea of how this works in more detail

like

High dividend value stocks and ETFs.

I like SCHD and VIG. Also IGF which is an infrastructure fund (similar to but more diversified than a utility ETf).

For a beginner, low cost index funds. I bank and invest with Schwab, so I utilize the "Schwab Total Stock Market Index Fund" and the "Schwab S&P 500 Index Fund." It doesn't really matter what specific option you choose, as long as you follow the approach of investing in low-cost index funds that track broad market indices.

Fundrise is good for diversification

Should I rent out my home or sell it? I bought a home earlier this year and need to move due to unforeseen circumstances. I tried listing my home in October but got no interest so I opted for renting it out and waiting until next summer potentially. I'm seeing things start to move again in my area with the slight drop in rates. I'm just about breaking even on the rental, and there's the hassle of managing it from out of state. Should I try to sell it again now or continue to rent it out?

I see so much room for growth in my firm, especially related to social media, updated technology, marketing strategies, etc. Except, every time I suggest them, I'm pegged as a greedy/pushy millennial. Told by the older partners, "back in our day" or "we tried that years ago" and am quickly dismissed. I referenced other firms initiatives and was told it was clear I was not happy where I am, so I should go... Anyone else struggling with this?

How much house can I afford?
Single, I make 136, putting 19.5 into 401k, 6 into Roth, another 10 into stocks, and 2 into crypto/ year. Have savings of 35k and will use my bonus of 20k as well for down payment. decent properties in areas I would consider living start north of 325k.
Am I better off waiting and saving more for a bigger down payment, just going for it, or lowering my expectations?

I just had dinner with some old friends and they are about to retire early. Part of their plan is to downsize their home, get a small condo and travel for 9-10 months a year. Does this seem crazy?
