Chill you make more annually than your debt. You're fine. Chill. Get rid of it piece by piece. Credit card first then the student loans. Breathe!!!!!
You are fine, relax. People are much worse off than you. You can pay rent right?
Are you a new hire? I feel that all the time I'm <1 year in.
I'm serious. About debt
That I'm in debt. I don't know how I'm not homeless. I have $14k credit card debt and 30k student loans
It feels horrible, like you can't breathe and you're convinced it's a heart attack. But it's normal. I used to have them a lot and have taken control through my doctor and my choices. Your debt is nothing to obsess over.
Keep calm. What's going on?
25 years old. Currently at $82k
Perhaps the issue isn't your debt, which is totally manageable and you seem to know that, but instead a chemical imbalance such as anxiety, as you mentioned. Maybe see a doctor to see how you can calm yourself down in situations like this, so you can think rationally?
@OP Mint. BUDGET. Chip away at it monthly. You'll be fine.
OP, if it makes you feel any better. I had 6k in credit card debt, 180k in student loans and I'm still able to enjoy my life. Stick to a budget, make sure you make on time payments and ALWAYS have a little leeway to enjoy yourself. The good news is if you're paying down your credit card debt consistently you'll soon have funds for your long term goals like travel, family, savings, etc. Focus on the credit card debt for now and take it month by month. If you ever want to chat and vent, let me know!
Guys I really don't know what to do. I'm freaking out
I'm freaking out that I'm like living a lie
You can get rid of it little by little don't worry! Many Americans have debt
What's your after tax paycheck each month? What's your cost of living?
OP, it will be ok. How old are you? What is your salary?
Be smart with your money and make a budget spreadsheet for yourself. Excel has some templates you can use as well
I know it's irrational but idk I think this is just some sort of anxiety
I've never experienced a panic attack before. Ever
You need a Xanax, OP. That shit saved my life.
