Has anyone ever asked to renegotiate their salary after starting a job? I’m 2 months into my new job and I have far more responsibilities than what I was told. It’s a lot different than what was relayed in the posting and during the interviews. Additionally, they hired my counter part in as a senior manager which is at least $30k more than what I make. My peer has more experience so I expect that but I feel that I should be paid more, however I don’t want to leave a bad impression… any advice?

I received an offer today that wants me to decide by this Wednesday (6/8) @1PM EST, but I have 2nd round video interviews with 2 companies that may be a better fit tomorrow/wed. I know one of them (wed. interview) usually has a skills test/case study following that (and i dont think the other does but unsure). EY MD 🐠 , I’m a newly promoted MD and have a few questions on comp timelines I’m hoping you can help answer since there have been 0 comms to MDs on this 😔:
1. I’ve heard we don’t find out new salaries until mid-Aug with others below PP. Given others new comp doesn’t start until Oct, do you know if that’s when our new comp starts too even though our new titles are already effective?
