Help me I feel lost :(
I started in a staff aug project as an experienced hire. Everything seems to be going smoothly and clients are happy but the project is super slow right now. I would like to help other projects for the same client but the comunication with the managers is lackluster at best and there is none with the leadership.
How am I supposed to engage with my new coworkers?

Maybe just tell your manager you’ll give an update every x days and ask directly if you can help with anything else on the client? If possible, maybe you can proactively suggest some things to help. Then, keep providing regular updates and offering other areas to help. Maybe you’ll be able to help but at least you’re also covering yourself too

yes I scheduled recurring meetings so I can give updates on the project (I work as the PMO). It doesn't help that I'm the lowest in rank so I feel like I'm always managing up. I feel like they don't even care.. Whats worst is that the client asked my leadership to extend my duration :(

I was working at a Hotel one night & I saw a man appearing on two different floors, then in the stairwell. The man was in his 70’s or 80’s. He was wearing nothing but tidy whiteys. When he got to the front desk I asked “is everything alright? Are you okay?” (Assuming he may be senile),He wasn’t senile, he went swimming & wanted to make me uncomfortable and started to flirt while in his sopping wet see through tidy whiteys- and of course I had to clean up the water he tracked through the lobby.

Currently in discussions with EY for a position in their Strategy & Transaction team, fdd service line. I made it clear that I am interested in expanding my skillset in the future and maybe work on a strategy project if possible (i want to specialise in an industry, instead of a service line).
Is it possible to do a secondment within the firm in the future if i wanted to do that?

It's always tough, but this year it has felt impossible to stay on top of grading. Sure, there are online quizzes the computer can grade for you, but that data is so limited. What about the steps they took to get that answer on the math problem? I need to see it to know what they missed... Between submission of blurry photos and going through the process of uploading, downloading, and squinting to see their work, it takes me 20x longer to grade work for my digital kids. #thestruggle
