Help! My daughter recently repotted her monstera a couple weeks ago and now this is happening. Do you have any ideas on what the issue might be?

If it’s a east or north facing window it should be fine but direct sunlight from the south will hurt the plant so can it be moved back a few feet? I’m wondering why she repotted it and when she did were the roots ok? Because the yellowing & buckling to me look a bit like overwatering/roots not getting enough air to absorb water. Is the new pot much bigger than the roots? Good luck what a lovely plant!

Definitely overwatering. The bright yellow color gives it away.

Generally would not repot a tropical plant in winter near a cool window… sounds tough! Any other intel about soil, size, care etc?

She used general potting soil along with worm castings, perlite and that core material. Maybe it is just in shock. I was wondering if it is too much light right next to the window. I have heard for monstera that they live under trees so they need light but not direct light.

So herbs are a little different than houseplants, but I’ve put mine into this little greenhouse and planted them to hide them from the cat. For whatever reason, they are both drooping and have yellow leaves (which indicates underwatering) but are also developing fuzzy mildew (which suggests overwatering). I have a grow light over the greenhouse and leave it open for ventilation, and it also has natural vents at the top. I’m a bit new to the herb game… any advice here?

Repotted my monstera last night and it went from pretty upright with a nice arch, to looking like it’s going to fall over. I know some people give their monstera a pole to climb, but that’s not what we are looking to do with ours and I know they can look nice & be healthy without a pole
