If he’s shown that he CAN drink from a bottle (since he used to at night), I agree that nanny and baby will figure it out! Right now it’s likely a motivation thing - he prefers breastfeeding and knows it’s option if he waits, so he doesn’t really have to take the bottle. Try not to stress!
There are past threads on this with some suggestions and some of what you tried. Honestly nanny and baby will figure it out and it may take some time but don’t feel you need to have it solved before nanny arrives.

What do you do when he only takes half an ounce when you offer the bottle?

Babies are smart :) he’s learned that he can just play with his bottle and get the boob shortly after. He will quickly learn that nanny=bottle and no boob is coming if he refuses his bottle.
That said, I typically just nurse when I’m home with the baby & nanny. If you’re wanting to just pump & bottle feed during the day, I’d just set that expectation for baby. Going back and forth might be tough for him while he’s refusing the bottle. My baby doesn’t care, but my oldest was finicky.

This just happened with my 6 month old as we stopped bottle in November due to RSV and I ended up trying every bottle . Found the Nuby weighted straw cup and he is a pro now sitting and drinking milk .
