Re-educate them, give them broader perspectives. It takes time for our parents sometimes, but they will get it eventually

Former is likely where the thread begins. There is deep distrust of blacks within several Asian communities — I have even noticed it within Muslim and Arab communities in the US. From there it’s a hop and a skip to Trump land.

I know many Asian American citizens voting for Trump. My parents, uncles, and cousins are voting for Trump. I don't have a problem with that. But they view me challenging them in their beliefs as a personal attack on them and then I get called a snowflake. Womp womp. Not sure why they're not open to debate...
