Help - My partner just got promoted (yay!). Folks at their firm drop by to congratulate new promotes on the day and it’s usually nice to have some sweet and savory small bites to share at their desk. Any suggestion for what they can keep (and from where) that’s easy to eat and delicious.

Moved from another state to NY while keeping the same job which is based in NY. Why does my w2 form show box 16 as state wages in NY even though only about 30% of that was when I lived in NY?

24F, moving to NY for a year or so for work. Originally, I was looking in WV, Chelsea, Soho etc to live more downtown, ideally in a luxury building. While I can afford it, I travel a lot personally and am having a hard time justifying the high rent if I’m going to be in and out. Trying to decide if I should find a roommate for the more downtown spots, or go to UWS, really liked it and could be cheaper? For people who travel a lot and live in NY, which neighborhoods and how do you budget?
