I have an interview scheduled with Barclays next week. HR told me that this will be a Business and controls interview. On asking what would this be around, she just told me that the panel would like to know more about you. She didn't say anything else. What can I expect from this round.
I gave one round before this one which was completely technical and from my CV

Maybe try sharing your resume here for some feedback and suggestions. I've seen a lot of people get some great help doing this.
One thing to keep in mind is to always read the minimum/basic quals of the position. If you don’t meet those, the recruiter can’t proceed in most instances. If you do meet them, GREAT! Make sure your resume easily highlights HOW you meet or exceed. I used to be a proponent of Cover Letters, but I know I don’t personally take the time to look at them and rarely do my coworkers…do the same on LinkedIn. Find a way to highlight any skills that fit into those requirements.

Thank you, sending it your way now!
Applying for RC roles have also been difficult for me lately too! From recent interviews, it feels like companies usually look for high amounts of interview scheduling (I schedule up to 90 interviews weekly), helping out with onboarding, scheduling onsite events, and pulling reports on Excel and ATS. I would suggest tweaking your resume to pinpoint skills similar to these.
I agree with this. When I was trying to break into a HR coordinator role I had the same issue. So many would turn me down because I didn’t have high volume scheduling experience. Honestly, companies and people can be so closed minded. I would read their job description and tweak a bit. Leave everything not relevant, out. Definitely mention ATS you’ve used.
I'm hiring at my company for recruiters and they are remote positions. You can send me your resume at stefanie.isaksen@gogpac.com if you're interested
Thank you so much. I will be sending you my resume asap
A couple of things you need to consider as you are applying:
1. Are you applying to entry-level or experience coordinator positions? For entry-level positions, you come off as too experienced and the resume is too lengthy. If you are applying to experience positions, your bullet points may not be relevant to the role. You need to customize it to the position you are applying to.
2. Your compensation expectations may not align with the roles you are applying to. I see you are a data entry specialist and you have experience in the field which may not align with the positions you are applying to.
3. In your objective, it is too blurry but what I can make out, doesn't read as to why you want to switch fields/careers. This is your opportunity to make such a statement. No recruiter reads cover letters but would read a two-sentence objective.
4. Consider contract jobs as you get experience in the field. Some companies will convert to full-time or extend the assignment.
Thanks so much for the input! As for my objective, it talks about my customer service experience and experience in recruiting and staffing. So I think I’m on track regarding your point. Data entry was my most recent contract position to make ends meet; however, it is a very small piece in my employment story since it was a strict 4 month contract. Generally, would you suggest I get rid of some of the jobs that aren’t related to recruiting such as the data entry position in efforts to make the resume shorter? If so will the gaps it creates be detrimental when a recruiter views it?
Where are you based?
Philadelphia, PA. I’m also open to remote positions too.

Sounds like your resume could use some tweaking if you’re not even getting interviews. Are you only applying to remote roles? Those are extremely competitive but and in person hybrid role would be easier.
Very wordy resume. You have 6 seconds for a recruiter to look, keep it simple. Take off the professional summary section entirely it is unnecessary and takes up real estate. Recruiters look right past this, no one is going to say something negative about themselves. Keep it 1 page, this is for a recruiting coordinator role not a senior level. Keep each listed job at 3-5 bullets MAX. Consider adding key skills at the bottom along with programs you know. Keep it chronological. Do you have education anywhere? Can’t see it but depending on when/if you graduated that may be up top first. Take out recruitment coordinator up top as you don’t have any of that on your resume yet.
that's really odd...I think it's the resume that needs the work. Or do you get to the interview stage?
Are you open to relocate?
I would be open if it made sense for me financially. Ie. Salary/benefits/relocation assistance etc.
Where are you located ?
Philadelphia, PA. I’m also open to remote positions too.
I got one interview but it was actually for a different role. I just attached a picture of most of my resume in the comment above. Please let me know if you see any red flags. Thanks so much
For some reason every time I try to upload a screenshot of my resume it’s blurry. If anyone is interested in looking at it, I’d be happy to send it via email
