Help needed, I recently got offered a position at a VP level for a company that seems to do 2.5-3mil. I tried to do some research. I was sent an offer with a base of 115 K plus some bonus and company ownership built in there eventually, but I countered at 12K a year higher and then emphasized the structuring of bonuses to be paid out and also ownership.
Was the 12 addition to my base too much do you think also I am clueless when it comes to company ownership and how that applies to VPs. HELPTHx

During editing reviews a top leader added a line stating base pay and bonus. The base pay is significantly higher than what I’m on (I’m below market average). Been with them for nearly 8 years and been referred to as a top player (I carried out multiple roles to get biz through covid).

I understand cost of living differences are a factor but this difference is very demotivating. My tenure is over 15 years vs 1 and 5 years respectively. Comp is $138k canandian + 20% bonus vs $230k USD + 25% bonus

Any advice for asking for almost a 30-35% raise. I recently got an Office Manager position and I wanted to renegotiate my pay. It's a brand new location with branches nationwide.
