Help please! College daughter signed lease at her sorority house. School went remote so she’s never moved in. Sorority is threatening to give her an eviction notice which I assume would end up on her credit record... Any ideas how to fight this? The only reason she didn’t move in was due to Covid and school closing dorms... We got an abatement from the dorms last semester. Any ideas?

So, no school today for students, but a professional day for us. Central office won’t let us work from home (NO meetings or trainings scheduled). No offense, but what crap!

Our hospital only really has COVID information in Enlglish and Spanish. In need of materials that we can give out in any language to inform people how to stay healthy

Should I move to NYC in the fall for graduate school or take classes remotely for the time being? Would be coming from a low Covid zone and would obviously quarantine for the first two weeks. Question is around whether you think it’s “worth it”. 1/3 of my classes will be held in person.

The covid WFH budget should be higher in general but especially higher for 2020 new hires. 300 bucks is nothing if you have to buy a new monitor, desk, ergonomic chair, mouse, keyboard, etc etc. At least those who were in office at some point had a chance to grab monitors and equipment from office. Covid task force should consider this as an idea to improve wfh life !

I’ve realized how much people are like sheep through this whole coronavirus thing. I think my whole view of humanity is irreversibly changed.

Something that's been on my mind is how working remote is actually potentially helping the chronically ill. (At least, it's helping me). I have several chronic conditions - physical and emotional. I have struggled noticeably since I first started working full time - when you're chronically ill, such a rigid schedule and environment can really make certain conditions worse. I'll continue below by describing how much better I'm doing and also thoughts on how to proceed as we go back to "normal"
