Help! Recruiting for a start up vs. large company? Currently working in a start up environment (only recruiter) and wondering if a larger company is the way to go

I started my career with a startup and it was the best decision I’ve ever made.

I am currently in house at a larger company and wishing I was at a start-up. Unless you are looking to scale back and have more of a routine, I would stay. And especially if you believe in the company and have stock options.

Does anyone know of any companies looking for Tech Recruiters?

I was laid off during Deloitte‘s mass layoff in July of last year. I have worked as an independent contractor since and projects haven’t been consistent at the client I’m working for. I’m looking to get back into a big firm and was seeing if anyone would be able to refer me or help get my foot in the door. I was a business analyst for 1.5 years at Deloitte and have several years of additional experience which I’d be more than happy to share.

Hi everyone!
asking for career advancement after a job offer, Does that sound greedy? I am considering an offer which is really good but advancement opportunities are important to me and I wanna know if the company is good at promoting people. What would be a good approach to the hiring manager for this matter?

the main partner I work for hasn’t been giving me consistent enough work (or type I want) so while I work for him still on some deals, I’ve had to go and get other work from other partners. He doesn’t regularly check in on what I’m working on. He keeps volunteering me for projects without checking if I have capacity and if he expected to know everything I’m working on… he would’ve thought I was just doing nothing the last 2 months. I don’t know how to address this workload balancing with him!

Im in the onboarding process for a fully remote role. They are asking if I have a need for an external monito for the laptop. Do I? Have never used one so I am not sure. It would be for a recruiting coordinator role.

What do you do with a candidate accepting an offer and sending all her documents only to ghost us a few days before joining? Should we call her emergency number? She hasnt rescinded the offer but seemed to have rather “disappeared” and not responding to emails, text, VM or calls

Anyone sourcing or recruiting engineers?
I started with a company recruiting logistics professionals... They've doubled my work load and transitioned me into recruiting electrical engineers with security clearances ( so much more strict criteria), but my pay is the same.

I am getting ready to ask for a raise, but curious what you think I should be making?
I work completely remote and have surpassed all my quarterly goals this year.

Job offer extended but now some red flags… I was extended an offer today with a pay raise and great benefits. It’s in a field that interests me more but, now some red flags have come up. They voided my offer after asking for time off way in advance in December of this year & the pay that was discussed on the phone is different from my offer letter. I asked the recruiter to clarify and she said I must’ve not heard her correctly on the phone. I’m not having second thoughts… I was excited.

I was a month in as Workday HCM Consultant with Accenture. They immediately throw me into the HCM courses to obtain my WD HCM certification. There are three parts HCM Essentials, HCM Applied, and HCM Practical. The passing score is 70 or above. I scored a 62 on the Essentials portion, I passed Applied, and at the end of this week Practical. During class, I received an “immediate connect” Team call and I was fired because of my low score. I'm devastated, and shocked. Yesterday was my birthday.
