As an elder millennial with kids I am finding it really tough to reconcile society right now. The future for my kids seems bleak. I am extremely resentful of the obnoxious petulance of the boomers but also equally frustrated with the privileged woke attitudes of a lazy GenZ. We moved my father in law (in his 80s) from Florida into assisted living in our Midwest city a few years ago. My husband and I do not have any family nearby, so people do come to visit, but we are responsible for his care.
