65% in bonds and cash?
Correct, CD1. I do think it will keep going down, but just in case, starting to gradually increase my exposure to equities.

Is this in preparation of buying more? Then I agree, if this is a long term allocation - that’s not gonna help long term.

This is an extremely uneducated tactic. There are studies showing that by missing the 5 best performing days in the last 40 years, you are missing out 1/3 of the gains. That's 5 days out of 10,000 trading days( 250 trading days a year times 40 years). A handful of market gaining days literally sets the course for your entire investment journey. In times like now with extreme volatility, you are more likely to lose gains than to time the market right and come out ahead.

Ya, why so much bonds and cash? Especially if it means selling in a down market, seems very conservative when now if a buying opportunity
Opposite...I am increasing my exposure to equities, not reducing.
I'm curious about your age. If you're anything younger than 40-45, I'd say you're taking it to the extreme
35, but <4 years from retiring.
Real estate? I have a ton in multi family REPE funds through Cadre.
Ah, sorry. I see that now. I am not super bullish on real estate. I bought lots of property back in 2008, so if that situation came up again...I would definitely reconsider that position.
