Here’s a question for people with insight into the vaccine trial/approval/distribution process (assume there have to be some of you on here): assuming things go as well as they can for the Pfizer vaccine from here on out (ie it gets interim approval by the end of the year, no unexpected hiccups in subsequent trials, etc), when do you think we’d actually see people being vaccinated on a mass scale? Spring 2021?

If so, did you see a colorectal surgeon to get them tied or remediated after pregnancy? I am sure they are here because I am pregnant and had them bad on first pregnancy around 32 weeks.

Does anyone here in a health system have insurance that covers fertility assistance or get paid parental leave? Really like my position at my hospital but as we start to plan a family - I'm nervous about the cost. Just looking around regionally - it looks like most health systems don't cover this.

At this moment, I am almost depressed. I am in a relationship with this guy for 2 years now. In the past 2 years, we have fought more than we have lived days with peace. We both have high ego problems because of which it’s really hard to resolve a conflict. Things have recently escalated to calling names/swearing and even physically abuse from both sides. I just learned about rejection sensitive dysphoria. It describes that feeling of severe emotional pain tied to rejection or failure. And it is associated with ADHD. This explains so much about me and how I approach the world and my job. This feels like important information although I don’t know how to use it yet.

My mom won't wear her Fitbit to bed. She has a pacemaker and has had a fib. We got it for Christmas so we could find out while she's in an episode and not a month later. Fellow gay fish. Thoughts on a PPO v HDHP (w/ HSA) for health insurance? I’ve always done the PPO with higher premiums because the high deductible scares me, especially with 4+ visits to PCP and lab draws, plus other STI testing. Anyone else have experience or advice on selecting between the two? I did some modeling and it seemed like the HDHP would be better but would love additional advice.

I've become disillusioned with the partnership track career path fairly quickly and don't think it's for me. Before taking a large pivot and leaving the law entirety, I've thought about going in-house.
(1) Are there any downsides to going in-house too early?
