You really typed that whole thing out and thought "yes, this is a good thing to post"
I just wanted to see what people would say

CET you are right. Men do have the right to safe legal and accessible/ affordable abortions. Of course we know you are referring to trans men here and I applaud for you for such an inclusive comment. We often tend to over look that. Kudos to you 🙏🙏🙏
This post is trying too hard.
You strike me as a person with two functioning kidneys. Did you know there are 90000 people in the US alone without a functioning kidney?
It seems to me that you don’t have a right to a kidney. What’s more, those people are being deprived a right to life.
So we’re going to need to get one of those little bean-shaped bastards from you to protect the sanctity of life. Don’t worry, you don’t get a say.
It’s not that complicated. You were asking a hypothetical about rights re:bodily autonomy using a logical claim involving a premise that seems besides the point. The technical term is an ad hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy.
I was trying to point out why that logic doesn’t follow when you extrapolate it to another situation.
But if you want to call people in end-stage renal failure greedy, that’s your biz.
Edit: I see now your honestly trying to have a hypothetical conversation and thought experiment, I respect that.
Not true, whenever a men gets pregnant he will be able to decide to keep the human growing inside him
I'm so out of touch w what the right thinks these days that i thought this was a legit good-natured call-out post on all of us who are leaving trans people out of our abortion dialogue 🤦🏼♀️ if only
See above. I post things like this to get people thinking in ways that are either on the edge, abstract, or switched from usual points of view. I want people to consider thing s they usually don’t, and if it makes people think about trans people left out of the abortion dialogue, then good - the issue has expanded and people are looking at more than they have traditionally considered

As an immigrant who had pass American history to become a citizen I am baffled by the religious nuts who think it’s okay to restrict rights for others based on their beliefs. Using the The Mormons as an example for reform,
Mormons had to give up polygamy to be part of the United States.
In 1890, Mormon president Wilford Woodruff announced in a document known as "The Manifesto" that the church would renounce the practice of polygamy after being forced by the US government.
In 1978, the Deseret News carried the breaking news that “every faithful, worthy man in the Church may receive the holy priesthood.” Removing the discriminatory practice that limited black men from achieving priesthood in the Mormon church.
If your beliefs of detrimental or discriminatory to other groups, they should take a backseat.

CET, can you install plumbing without a license?
And, as expected, crickets from OP after good arguments are laid out. Nice thought experiment bro. Gonna live my life experiment as a woman who doesn’t want kids and hope to “god” I can at least get a hysterectomy ASAP.

Using the idea that there are absolutely no differences between men and women (a common worldview on the left) against them. Clever but in reality there are indeed differences between men and women that some here have hypocritically noted.
Pro
Because men don’t get pregnant. (Remains a true statement despite what radical leftists say.).
