Here’s the deal. I’m looking to order a new Jeep Wrangler 4XE. I already own 2 cars (one is paid off, and one has a lienholder) but will sell the one with a lien. My question is do I need to sell it now, in order to get approved for the new car loan when it arrives? Or if my credit score is already high, does it not matter? Just concerned I won’t get approved for the new car loan if I am carrying too much debt.

Last week I was in the hospital for 4 days due to a condition that I was also hospitalized for in October and January. I now have to have surgery to remove part of my intestine on April 22nd. Clearly, this is going to be an ongoing issue and I don’t think it’s fair to start at a new law firm with this going on, nor do I need the stress. How do I tell them I’m not coming?
