I’ve been in the healthcare industry for over 20 years, and have been in management for several years in that field (though not currently in management). I’ve been with an insurance company for almost 10 years in various capacities and ready to make a change - more than likely leaving the organization. Is it worth getting a PMP certification? I have my BA.

For those who have obtained the CFF certification:
I was asked to put together a working plan to obtain my CFF credential. I’m aware of the 2 certificate program (Core and Specialized) through the AICPA that will lead to the CFF. Does anyone have experience in how long it would take to complete the certificates and if there are other necessary or helpful study materials that would be useful? For background, I’m 6 months into working at this firm and have touched a variety of cases.

What would you choose? MBB (Digital practice) or Amazon PMT?

Situation: I have a MBB and Amazon PMT offer for summer internship that I need to choose. MBB comes with FT offer, Amazon PMT will most likely result in return offer. If I go with MBB, I plan to exit to big Tech in 2-3 years. Y1 TC for both will be quite similar (around 230k).

I really wanted to work with Airbus but they are not budging from the offer of 23 even after I told them I have a better offer from Genpact with better position. HR said they will come back..

You think Airbus will come back with better offer?

I’m in Tax, and will finish my CPA hopefully by the end of the year (2/4 passed). I’m 31, 5 years of exp in PA, 2 at B4; and I want out. I’m looking to move into the finance world. Equity analysis looks really interesting to me, how can I break into this field? Do I go get an MBA? Do I just start writing analysis on a blog and hope someone likes what I have to say? Does anyone else hate medical coding? I got my CPC and loved learned all about it! But once I started actually working in it, I hate it. They talk about how it’s all about translating procedures to numbers. But it’s not! It’s all about Money. All about how much RVUs the codes have so the provider gets the most reimbursement. With how everything is now a days, I feel like a bad person after a day of work. Just me? Was it just a bad employer that I worked for? I feel lost.
