Editors and AE’s – I’ve heard so much heated debate on this topic: do you prefer your AE to be in-session or in a separate assist room for requests, sometimes from multiple editors/projects?

We probably will want to relocate and therefore sell our house in 2-4 years. Anyone have any suggestions for getting a client to cooperate with discovery. We were retained by a insurance company for their insured and he has not returned emails or phone calls in about 4 weeks. Plaintiff’s counsel wants a settlement offer, and discovery responses or they’re gonna file a motion to compel. The company has been made aware of the insured’s noncooperation but they have tell us they’re pulling coverage for us to withdraw.

Hello all! I’m in a role where I’m being paid far less than market rate for my skills (by about 40-60%, so fairly significant). Initially I took the role to build experience and to avoid a gap on my resume.
My plan was to ask for a promotion/raise after a year, and I’ve gotten advice to get another job offer first as leverage. I’ve since realized that if I went through that trouble to get another offer, I’d just take it. Do I bother asking for a promotion or raise or just start looking?

Vendor employee means I work for Amazon but my main employer is another one who takes care of PF, Payment and all.
