Too broad. There is a diff between VN vs Japan vs India.
I wouldn’t worry about it unless you or someone you’re going with are immunocompromised; the flu is much more deadly than coronavirus. I think the biggest risk is going to China—and not even from contracting the virus. I would be much more worried about the possibility of being forcibly quarantined for an extended period of time if you so much as cough publicly in affected areas.
I would prepone, go now while the disease is still in pop culture.
Can confirm. I’ve never heard that term either until a desi used it in an email.
You must have a death wish
Did you get trip insurance? Personally I’d delay.
I’m going to Korea and Taiwan if that helps. Taiwan is the one that has me a little nervous, but not for a rational reason. Located in the US
Depends on your risk tolerance, but you're 99.9999% fine unless the situation drastically changes in the next few weeks.
Just got back from Japan. Was completely fine
Don’t know where you’re traveling from but You may have problems returning to US if that’s the case.
Where exactly are you going? Im going to vietnam and thailand, and don’t that worries. Just avoid China, Hong Kong and Macau.
SM2 is right. I believe there’s been a few deaths in VN related to it as well. I’d skip it altogether at this stage.
Don’t come back until they find a cure.
Don’t go right now
I had Japan scheduled at EOY. Delaying until the dust settles with all these outbreaks. OK to wait until next year if I have to.
