I need some advice regarding this situation and what to do. So I work for a company that offers outsourcing services to major investment banks around the world. I have been working for a new client for about six months now and they seem to like my work so far. Recently I saw that they're hiring to get people on their team at my level. My question is, should I talk to my client and try to pursue them to consider me for the role they're hiring for?

My employer currently expects me to bring in 15 new customers & 100 existing every month… minimum. I have realized with my upcoming paid time off that I am burnt out.
