Hey all, I recently got an offer that I accepted and will have two weeks off in between my current job and the new one. Bc of Covid, I can’t do a nice little international trip. Any suggestions on something domestic to do for few days, thats safe and feasible during this time?

Thanks everyone for the suggestions so far! I know everyone falls differently on the comfort zone of travel but I most likely am not wanting to travel by plane, so the suggestion for road trips have been great so far!

Covid has been hard. March 2029- December 2020 I drank a lot to cope without realizing it. January- March I didn't realize I was depressed. March I came to terms with increase and ongoing suicidal ideation and needed help.

I went into a intensive outpatient program (IOP) which has been super helpful.

During the beginning of covid I drank every day and in a great deal. January it was a "dry" month which was hard the first week but overall great.

March 2021 realized I'm clinically depressed.

Hey all! Need a couple book recs for an upcoming beach trip.

Looking for a great non-fiction, relating to travel or world history (not just one moment in time). Could also be about the marketing world or memoirs of a business leader kinda thing.

Fiction wise I also like fantasy, paranormal, and romance. Some fave book series are the Black Gryphon from Mercedes Lackey, Game of Thrones, and From Jamaica Lane series. Similar books?

Could the time be better used to maybe visit Cotswold or York or some other places?
