Hey all, I’m recently looking into finding an internship in video game industry as a financial or data analyst. I came across Epic Games and just wonder how working there is like. Also any advice on finding internship/ft job in this industry is appreciated.

Is it crazy to go from $330k total comp in consulting to $240k total comp in corporate strategy at a F50? Base would be about the same in both roles. Young family at home, need to exit consulting and get better work life balance. We could afford it financially, though unlikely to see meaningful increases for a few years in the new role. Anyone taken that kind of pay cut before for family and balance reasons?

What positions would I qualify for?

I currently work as a Sales Specialist for a Fortune 500. My responsibility is indirect management of sales rep effectiveness/readiness for a specific product category. Throughout my career I have experience direct selling, coaching reps, sales training, strategic management of a product category, cross department partnerships. I’m looking to further expand my career into Leadership.

What are my options?

My company has always had SalesForce but it was not really a tool that we used or that anyone looked at. Over the last year my company has put more stress on growth (to be acquired or IPO) and they are now obsessed. I know it is important and necessary and my boss is clearly becoming stressed with our entire team. But I find it extremely hard to keep as up to date and in line with they new expectations, anyone have any advice on how they stay motivated with SalesForce? Thanks!

I recently accepted a job and its WFH (work from home) then supposed to meet in-office when it’s safe enough, but I’m not quite sure how to be disciplined enough to WFH. After speaking to my manager my position has changed to fully WFH…I turned down a different job because it was fully remote and I knew I couldn’t do the whole WFH full-time option cause I lack discipline.
