I’d say the following taking into account growth forecasts: - Everything related to cloud (IaaS, PaaS…) - Security (ZeroTrust, SASE…) - AI/ML You can try at a system integrator or consulting company or, preferably, at a vendor.

Blockchain and AI get all the news. Both need heaps of infrastructure to work and the demand for infrastructure isn’t changing unless we figure out a completely new way to compute. I’d look to get as close to the infra as possible, it’s how I started less than a decade ago. I’m doing well and the sector is thriving. Of course, there are plenty of other rocket ships, but I see cloud infra like waste management, even in a down turn people still need their bins collecting.

Have you read any of the Gartner reports re: top priorities for CIOs and CISOs? That'll tell you the markets that are hot and then you can research which companies are the leaders in those specific markets by Googling "Gartner Magic Quadrant XXX".

Don't aim for SDR if you have Sales experience. Aim for an AE role and highlight your integrity and speed to knowledge.

KPMG is looking out for SAP resource but when you give interview they don’t like you. Not sure how they will build the SAP practice. SAP market is hot and with this level of scrutiny it is difficult for them to beat others in the market.
