Hey All, looking for suggestions on other job titles/industries for a mechanical engineer to apply to. Currently in the automotive sector in Michigan and ready for a change.
Willing to go remote, otherwise the job needs to remain in Michigan. Mechanical is so broad, I'm having a hard time finding unrelated engineering jobs to automotive! I'd even be happy to move outside of the engineering role, using my technical expertise for something else! Any recommendations?

This has never before in my life been an issue.
I have a GED, (scored in the 98% percentile 😳🤷🏻‍♀️) and my college grades were 😳😳 nothing I would ever be pleased to share (went from straight As to Cs to Fs, then withdrew). I was honest about my dates of attendance and my lack of degree on my resume.

I haven't been at my new organization long and my last job I was at for quite sometime. I just got an offer from a relatively stable tech start-up. I'm super excited to join the company and even more excited for the position.

I am currently working in the field of supply chain and transport after competing my undergrad in kinesiology (career change occurred through internships during undergrad).
