You definitely need a separate basketball shoe if you’re a true baller
Would not use for basketball, but yes Nike metcon are great cross trainers for lifting, cardio, rock climbing, and boxing
So those are all sports where there are specific shoes needed (training, weightlifting). But the best cross training shoes I’ve had were the metcon 2’s by Nike. I have the metcon 5 and they have progressively focused on making their cross trainer more focused on lifting. The 2’s were great for bball and just general stuff
Short answer: Metcons lol
Heard Nike metcons are good but haven’t tried them myself
I just got the Metcon 6 during Nike’s Black Friday sale and they’ve really helped with my squats and deadlifts. As other have said, though, I wouldn’t wear them for every single activity you listed.
SM1 I think you can get the metcon5 for around 85-90 on sale days. I don’t think they’re that different from the 6
Get some chuck taylors. They do it all.
Best deals on chuck taylors ?
Thanks all - I was looking at Metcons also and seems like I’ll go with those
Probably will have to get new shoes for basketball as most of you have stated
Kyrie Irving’s signature shoe is a great model that can be found for a lower price.

Nike or adidas Crosstrainers
Most rock climbing places let you rent shoes. You really need rock climbing shoes for climbing, otherwise the toe box will be too big and the shoe itself too wide. That kind of fit isn't going to work for any of the other sports you listed though. Maybe those toe shoes or something if you're into basically being barefoot.
