Hey All! What’s the appetite here for a master spreadsheet online that will share all compensation data to increase transparency?

I’m working in one now and am curious as to what criteria should be included for the data to be most useful

Bonuses i’m on the fence about. Probably last bonus received would be the appropriate input

OKAY looking for inputs here, these are the areas i’m thinking of including

- city (if uncomfortable disclosing, put LCOL, MCOL, HCOL)
- stream (tax, audit, risk advisory, m&a, etc)
- level (Analyst, S1, s2, etc)
- years of experience in accounting
- Salary
- Last bonus received (to remove optimism / bias)
- expected weekly hours on average
- were you an internal promo or external hire

I want to keep it brief, but please let me know if you think i am missing any information.
I will also have a place to submit feedback and recommendations

Yeah i think i can anonymize it using different tools. Very valid concern and this is the stuff i want to control for

Won’t be on a google sheet most likely, comparable format though

Can someone give me insight on completing projects for interviews? I’ve interviewed for a very associate level role that pays ~65k. The interview went well but now they want me to not only do a SWOT analysis on the company as well as present for 45 minutes on a 4 person panel. I’ve done assessments before for interviews but this seems a little excessive based on the role (eCommerce specialist) and pay range. Has anyone experienced something like this before?

I'm part way through my 3rd year as a Big 4 senior manager in Canada doing US corporate tax with a total of 10+ years experience all in B4. For 9 years I've been earning a salary in Canadian dollars.

Today I received an offer for a fully remote position at a smaller firm (150 people) in the Pacific Northwest once I move back this summer. They initially offered US$135K but after my comment about it being lower than I expected was raised to US$140K.

My gut tells me this is low. Please help!

Closing on my first home. Advice for anyone with student loans in administrative forbearance per the Cares act: once your offer is accepted have you student loan servicer put your account back in repayment status.

Accounts in forbearance, even administrative forbearance, are calculated at a higher monthly payment by the underwriter.

My fictitious debt to income ratio was too high for them to approve me, and it took seven days for my loan to be officially back in repayment. So just a heads up.
