I’ve recently started seeing a therapist. We’re 4 sessions in and I’m having trouble gauging how it’s going and whether she is the right one for me. So far she is taking the time to get to know me but it hasn’t gotten meaningful yet. Lots of chatter but the few times where I think I’ve put a problem out there that I’d like to address, she says things like, “we can work on that” or “that’s totally normal”. Is it too early to judge? Is there something I’m not doing? Is she not right for me?

I have a money tree (indoors, from Trader Joe's) that constantly has gnats landing in its soil and multiplying. I've tried switching the dirt and watering it less, but they keep coming back.

I finally moved her outside, sans any soil. I plan to place her in a new pot outside with just some water for now. Is there anything I can do to keep her inside, and bug free?

My dog turns 12 and it depresses me that she’s getting older. Just had a sobbing session at the thought of losing her. She’s been by side throughout my most difficult adult life moments (divorce, cross-country moves, different jobs, toxic relationships, etc). I know I should treasure each moment, but the inevitable will eventually come and that just breaks my heart. 😥

I had a job interview that went really well on 3/31. After the interview I connected with the CRO on 4/12 a Tues. He informed me that it’s between me & another candidate. He said he would get back with on Friday with an update. I assumed he was referring to the 15th which was Good Friday. However, I never heard from him so I sent a follow up email this Monday the 18th and haven’t heard back… at this point should I continue waiting or email their internal recruiter? I don’t want to seem desperate
